Job summary

Beta Technologies in Vermont is seeking a Supplier Quality Technician to inspect components and ensure conformance to aerospace standards. You will support Quality Engineers, perform dimensional inspections, and document results in our ERP system. This role emphasizes attention to detail, GD&T knowledge, and a collaborative approach within a manufacturing team.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
Working knowledge of GD&T.
Experience with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gage blocks).
Proficient with Google Sheets and Excel or similar software.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

Assist Quality Engineers with conformity efforts and proper documentation.
Regularly inspect components during corrective actions and containment activities.
Contribute to RCCA discussions.
Assist with FAI reviews and inspections per requirements.
Generate First Article Inspections per AS9100.
Document results in ERP and generate inspection reports as needed.
Inspect incoming components and raw materials for conformance to specs.
Assign traceability to materials and manage quarantine and scrap as needed.
Support team objectives and perform other duties as required.
