GKN Aerospace invites a detail-oriented Quality Compliance Specialist to support aerospace manufacturing documentation. You will review, verify, and validate records to ensure AS9100, FAA, and customer requirements before archival.

The role operates on a 1st shift (7:00am–4:00pm) and requires collaboration with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues swiftly and compliantly. A strong eye for detail and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing quality, document compliance, or equivalent.
• Understanding of AS9100, ISO, and FAA compliance frameworks, or other relevant regulatory requirements.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively across all levels.
• Skilled with Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Must be U.S. Person in compliance with U.S. ITAR regulations.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance or related field (document control).

Aufgaben

• Conduct final review of completed manufacturing documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with aerospace quality standards.
• Validate signatures, entries, dates, and part traceability across batch records.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, quality assurance, and document control teams to resolve discrepancies before records are archived.
• Ensure documentation meets AS9100 and FAA compliance standards, as well as internal procedures and customer contract requirements.
• Support quality audits, customer inspections, and regulatory reviews by retrieving and explaining documentation.
• Log, track, and report recurring issues and recommend process improvements.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of procedures related to document handling, retention, and compliance.
