Job summary

ACR Electronics seeks a Quality Compliance Specialist to advance the QMS across the organization, driving AS9100/FAA compliance through audits, training, and data-driven metrics. You will serve as the primary interface with customers and auditors, champion continuous improvement, and ensure quality performance is visible at all levels of the company.

Qualifications

• AS9100 Lead Auditor certification (preferred).
• Ability to conduct independent multi-clause QMS audits.
• Proficient in quality tools such as 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, PFMEA.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience developing and delivering formal training programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with leadership and customers.
• Proficient with MS Office; experience with QMS software and ERP systems.
• Capable of managing multiple projects in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead Internal Auditor for AS9100 QMS.
• Develop and maintain annual internal audit schedule; plan, conduct, and document audits (including Repair & Overhaul).
• Manage corrective action process end-to-end.
• Lead root cause analysis using structured methodologies (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, PFMEA).
• Develop, schedule, and deliver AS9100 quality awareness training; maintain training records.
• Coach teams through structured problem-solving exercises.
• Define, collect, analyze, and report key quality metrics across the organization.
• Prepare the monthly Quality performance slide deck for leadership review.
• Drive cross-functional corrective or preventive actions based on metric analysis.
• Serve as primary quality point of contact during customer audits and surveillance visits.
• Coordinate third-party AS9100 / FAA surveillance and re-certification audits; prepare the site and ensure readiness.
• Prepare and submit formal responses to customer Nonconformance Notices and audit findings.
• Work with Engineering SMBs, customers, and suppliers to support quality issues.
• Prepare audit summaries for Quality Review and annual Management Review.
• Support change control activities, PFMEA updates, and QMS documentation maintenance as required.
• Prepare FAI for new products and annual updates.
