Everforth Apex in Bertram, TX is seeking a Quality Auditor to lead internal audits under AS9100, draft and update SOPs, and drive proactive quality control across production and development stages.

The role requires AS9100 auditing certification, 24+ years in aerospace/defense/space QA, a Bachelor's degree, and hands-on RCCA experience using 8D/DMAIC. U.S. citizenship for ITAR/EAR compliance is required. Travel to remote locations may be required in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Certification as quality auditor (ASQ CQA or AS9100 Internal/Lead Auditor) is required.
• Minimum 24 years of quality assurance experience in aerospace/defense/space.
• Bachelor's degree required; STEM preferred; aerospace manufacturing experience welcomed.
• U.S. citizenship due to ITAR/EAR compliance.

Responsabilités

• Plan, schedule, and execute internal quality audits across departments to ensure AS9100 compliance.
• Draft, review, and streamline SOPs and work instructions to support production scaling.
• Assist teams with first article inspections (AS9102) and configuration management.
• Investigate non-conformances, drive root-cause analysis, and verify corrective actions.
• Promote proactive QMS, engage cross-functionally to embed preventive measures.
