Job summary

DQS Inc. is recruiting an Aerospace Lead Auditor (AEA/AIEA) for home-based work with extensive travel. The candidate must be a certified Lead Auditor in AS9100 Rev D and have ISO 9001 auditing experience. A Bachelor’s degree in quality management and four years of quality systems experience are required.

Strong communication, self-management, and travel readiness are essential to deliver audits and support customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least four years’ experience in quality systems management.
• Certification as AS9100 Rev D Lead Auditor (AA, AEA, AIEA) in the SAE OASIS database is required.
• Completed an accredited 40-hour ISO 9001 or AS9100 lead auditor course.
• Experience in AS9100/ AS9110/ AS9120 implementation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct audits of quality management systems.
• Develop audit scope and audit plan; manage audit team activities.
• Present audit conclusions to customers and review resolutions of nonconformities.
• Assess customer needs and ensure compliance with DQS Inc. service standards.
• Travel extensively; operate in a virtual/home-based environment.
