Actalent is seeking a Quality Engineer for an on-site role in Creedmoor, NC, focusing on auditing programs and quality improvements within aerospace manufacturing. The role emphasizes applying AS9100, FAA regulations, and ISO 9001 standards while leading CAPA and root-cause analyses with cross-functional teams.

The position requires a strong audit backbone, problem-solving skills, and commitment to continual improvement of the QMS and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Quality Assurance or related field preferred, or 3+ years of relevant quality experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience supporting or leading internal, product, and process audits in aerospace or similarly regulated environments.
• Familiarity with quality and compliance risk management principles for manufacturing processes.
• Experience with quality system tools and CAPA, document control, and quality records.
• Ability to translate standards into actionable guidance for stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Interpret and apply aerospace quality standards and QMS requirements.
• Perform internal, product, and process audits in aerospace manufacturing.
• Develop and manage the internal audit schedule.
• Plan and execute the internal audit program with coordination and follow-up.
• Lead root cause analysis for quality and compliance issues.
• Develop, implement, and verify CAPA to prevent recurrence.
• Review evidence to verify corrective actions effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote compliance and process improvement.
• Monitor improvements for ongoing effectiveness and sustainability.
