Job summary

Astrion at Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, FL is seeking a Laboratory Quality Assurance Technician to support the LASSO II contract. Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Two years of experience in quality assurance or inspection of systems and equipment, preferably in aerospace.
• Experience reading and following procedures and engineering drawings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide QA support for the CRCA project including monitoring hydrostat and disassembly operations.
• Monitor clean room controls and perform hazardous vapor detection as required.
• Witness tests on flight hardware and perform final inspections of components.
• Verify equipment cleanliness and ensure compliance with procedures and verifications.
• Perform analyses with analytical instrumentation and record daily test data.
• Review work documents to determine cleaning and testing requirements.
