Job summary

Triumph Systems, Electronics and Controls, based in West Hartford, CT, is a leading aerospace system supplier serving commercial and military helicopter and business jet markets.

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to provide QA engineering support to internal teams and external customers and to implement the Quality Assurance strategy to ensure products meet industry standards and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years in a Quality role within a complex manufacturing environment.
• Aerospace regulatory knowledge desired.
• Proficient in problem-solving methods (8D) and statistical tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Customer / Program, Manufacturing Process and Supplier Quality Engineering Duties.
• Develop and analyze statistical and product/process performance data to recommend improvements in the Hydromechanical value stream.
• Develop, implement, and audit inspection and test plans, standards and acceptance criteria; facilitate corrective actions.
• Provide QA interface between the organization and customers to ensure needs are understood and met.
• Support continuous improvement activities with QA tools and methods.
• Participate in new product development and launch activities with QA support.
• Interface with all departments and external suppliers/customers for quality assurance.
