APM Manufacturing in Orange, CA is seeking an entry-level Quality Assurance Specialist I to support the quality management system and ensure manufacturing processes and products comply with internal procedures and aerospace standards.

You will assist with documentation control, quality audits, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating with production, engineering, and inspection teams on quality requirements.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of experience in quality assurance, manufacturing, or aerospace environment preferred.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support the maintenance and administration of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
• Assist in ensuring compliance with aerospace quality standards such as AS9100.
• Review quality documentation including procedures, work instructions, and records for accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with internal audits and support external audits conducted by customers or certification bodies.
• Help track and maintain corrective and preventive action (CAPA) records.
• Monitor and report quality metrics and performance indicators.
• Assist in the investigation of nonconforming materials and quality issues.
• Support document control activities including revision tracking and record retention.
• Work with production, engineering, and inspection teams to ensure quality requirements are understood and followed.
• Maintain quality records in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement and quality system enhancement initiatives.

Position Summary:

The Quality Assurance Specialist I is responsible for supporting the company’s quality management system and ensuring that manufacturing processes and products comply with internal procedures, customer requirements, and applicable aerospace industry standards. This entry-level role assists with documentation control, quality audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
