Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Savannah quality team seeks a QC Inspect I to support initial through final phase manufacturing of aircraft components. You will inspect using drawings, orders, and QA procedures to ensure FAA-compliant workmanship and document conformity.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 1 year quality inspection experience or 2 years GAC manufacturing experience, and is willing to work first shift with potential for other shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• CDM, Smartteam and CATIA experience preferred.
• Willingness to work any shift to meet business needs.
• High school diploma or GED required; 1 year quality inspection or 2 years GAC manufacturing experience preferred.
• Formal inspection training of 90 days required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect aerospace parts using drawings, orders, and QA procedures.
• Perform preliminary and progressive inspections of aircraft structure and systems.
• Witness, verify and document manufacturing process steps.
• Ensure proper use and storage of tools and documentation.
• Support safety programs and participate in continuous improvement.
