Job summary

Cirrus in Grand Forks, ND is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector 2 for the weekend shift to ensure aerospace components meet AS9100, NADCAP and customer specifications. You will inspect, test, and document results, and report deviations promptly.

This full-time onsite role requires a GED/HS diploma, knowledge of drawings, and familiarity with inspection tools. 2+ years aerospace QA experience preferred; strong communication and leadership in team settings.

Qualifications

• GED/HS Diploma required or equivalent.
• A&P License or AAS in Quality Assurance or related field preferred.
• Certifications such as ASNT, ASQ CQI or similar quality certifications are a plus.
• Familiarity with aerospace standards (AS9100, NADCAP, FAA regulations) and measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets drawings, procedures, and process specifications that govern manufacturing processes.
• Communicates findings to the appropriate department for corrective action.
• Maintains detailed records of inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions and prepares reports.
• Conducts audits of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality systems for compliance.
• Participates in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and safety.
