Job summary

Cirrus Aircraft in Grand Forks, ND is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to ensure aerospace components meet strict standards across the manufacturing lifecycle. You will inspect, test, and verify materials and processes, document non-conformances, and report findings to engineering and management.

The ideal candidate has a GED/HS Diploma, familiarity with aerospace standards, and at least 2 years in QA/QC.

Qualifications

• GED/HS Diploma or equivalent.
• A&P License or AAS in Quality Assurance or related field preferred.
• Certifications such as ASNT, ASQ CQI or similar quality certifications are a plus.
• Familiarity with aerospace standards (AS9100, NADCAP, FAA) and tools like micrometers, calipers, CMMs.
• Minimum of 2 years in QA/QC within aerospace manufacturing or assembly.
• Strong reading of engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and inspect to drawings and process specifications.
• Communicate findings for corrective action with appropriate departments.
• Maintain records of inspections, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
• Audit manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality systems for compliance.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and safety.
