Job summary

Accurus Aerospace Kent, LLC in Alabama seeks a QA Inspector to verify machined aerospace parts and assemblies against engineering requirements and work instructions. You will document approvals and non-conformances and support problem solving and rework as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years QA inspection experience for machined parts/assemblies; aerospace experience preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints and working with measurement instruments.
• CMM experience required; knowledge of CMM Manager preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine and use appropriate inspection methods and instruments for in-process and final inspection of aerospace parts.
• Initiate nonconformance records and disposition of nonconforming parts.
• Support process improvements to enhance inspection effectiveness and efficiency.
• Communicate with internal/external personnel to identify root causes and resolve non-conformances.
