Power Device Corporation is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support product quality and compliance across Manufacturing, Engineering, Product Development, Procurement, and Product Assurance. This role involves quality planning, audits, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to ensure timely delivery of reliable, cost-effective products.

The QA Engineer works with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers, gaining exposure to product qualification, testing, and inspections.

Competenze

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Applied Sciences is preferred.
• 3–5 years of related experience in Manufacturing or Industrial environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of AS9100, MIL-PRF-38534, MIL-STD-883, and IPC-A-610 is preferred.
• Ability to develop, analyze, articulate and present technical information in written and verbal forms.
• Ability to build strong working relationships with management, customers and vendors.
• Cleanroom environment restrictions and PPE requirements.

Mansioni

• Provide day-to-day QA support for production, engineering, and procurement activities within an AS9100 aerospace and defense manufacturing environment.
• Develop and maintain quality plans, inspection procedures, and processes to meet company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
• Support investigations of nonconformances, including root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and customer corrective action requests (CARs).
• Participate in internal audits, customer audits, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with AS9100 requirements.
• Review engineering change notices (ECNs), manufacturing travelers, engineering drawings, and SOPs for compliance with applicable requirements.
• Support product qualification testing, environmental testing, and inspections, including documentation review and resolution of quality issues.
• Support quality activities related to hybrid microcircuits and high-reliability electronic assemblies, including MIL-PRF-38534 and MIL-STD-883 compliance.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate First Article Inspections (FAIs) and associated documentation per AS9102 and customer-specific requirements.
• Collaborate with suppliers and customers to investigate quality concerns, resolve nonconformances, and ensure product and performance requirements are met.
• Prepare and deliver customer-facing quality status reports and presentations summarizing product qualification activities and status.
