Power Device Corporation in Bohemia, NY, is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure product quality and compliance across manufacturing, engineering, and procurement in an aerospace/defense environment.

You will support audits, investigations of nonconformances, and corrective actions, review ECNs and SOPs, and assist with product qualification testing and inspections while collaborating with suppliers and customers in a regulated setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering, mathematics, or applied sciences preferred.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred.
• Knowledge of AS9100, MIL-PRF-38534, MIL-STD-883, IPC-A-610 preferred.
• Ability to present technical information clearly in writing and verbally.
• Strong relationships with management, customers, and vendors.
• Access to a cleanroom environment; adherence to procedures.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day QA support for production, engineering, and procurement in aerospace manufacturing.
• Develop and maintain quality plans, inspection procedures, and processes.
• Investigate nonconformances with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Participate in internal and customer audits and continual improvement.
• Review ECNs, manufacturing travelers, drawings, and SOPs for compliance.
• Support product qualification testing and inspection activities.
• Prepare customer-facing quality status reports and presentations.
