Job summary

Chromalloy Gas Turbine, LLC is seeking a Chemical Process Operator to perform chemical and mechanical processing for aerospace turbine engine components. You will support coating, cleaning, surface preparation, and thermal processing to ensure quality and safety.

The role involves operating furnaces and coating systems, following procedures, and maintaining clean, safe work areas on the 2nd shift with a $2.00/hr shift differential. Relevant manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Manufacturing, chemical processing, coating, heat treatment, or related industrial experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, specifications, and procedure manuals.
• Basic math skills and ability to perform measurements and calculations.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical processing and coating operations on aerospace turbine engine components.
• Execute production processes including grit blasting, ultrasonic cleaning, thermal processing, and coating preparation activities.
• Set up, operate, monitor, and maintain furnaces, coating systems, blasting equipment, and other manufacturing machinery.
• Prepare and mix production materials following established procedures.
• Monitor process parameters and ensure compliance with production specifications.
