Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Purchasing & Quoting Analyst to support aerospace manufacturing operations in Manchester, CT. You will own the full purchasing lifecycle, issuing RFQs, selecting suppliers, and managing POs to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with engineering specs.

The role requires deep experience in aerospace procurement, strong ERP/MRP skills (SAP, Epicor, LN), and the ability to coordinate with engineering and quality teams in a high-precision environment.

Qualifications

• Direct purchasing experience in aerospace or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Ownership of the full procurement cycle, including RFQ creation, supplier evaluation and selection, and purchase order execution.
• Experience with RFQ and RFP processes, including documentation, analysis, and decision‑making.
• Strong ERP/MRP system experience, including working with platforms such as SAP, Epicor, LN, or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Issue RFQs and evaluate supplier quotes for price, lead time and quality.
• Select suppliers to meet aerospace requirements regarding cost, lead time and capability.
• Create, release, and manage purchase orders from initiation through closure.
• Track open PO lines and monitor delivery status to align with production schedules.
• Expedite materials to minimize delays and protect production flow.
• Resolve supplier issues related to late deliveries, quality concerns, and documentation.
• Maintain accurate ERP/MRP data and PO line statuses.
