Rocket Lab's Propulsion Assembly Technician III - A Shift is based in Long Beach, CA. You will build sub-assemblies for the Rutherford rocket engine and test hardware as part of a cross-functional team in a high-performance propulsion environment.

The role requires 5+ years in mechanical assembly within aerospace, proficiency with both mechanical and electrical tools, and a high school diploma or GED. Expect to work Monday-Thursday, 5:00am-3:30pm, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical assembly experience in aviation, aerospace, or similar industry.
• Proficient with mechanical assembly tools such as pressure testing equipment and welding prep.
• Proficient with electrical assembly tools such as bench testing and measuring instruments.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Build sub-assemblies for the Rutherford rocket engine.
• Test rocket hardware and verify specifications.
• Support Propulsion Production Manager and cross-functional teams.
