Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Project Technician III to support development, validation, optimization, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment at our Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico site. You will analyze product specs, troubleshoot issues, and implement mistake-proofing to ensure quality and manufacturability.

This onsite role requires U.S. citizenship and residency in Puerto Rico at start; relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or AA/AS degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience communicating in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Develop, program, characterize, and optimize manufacturing test processes to meet product specs and customer requirements.
• Analyze product specifications, drawings, and requirements to ensure manufacturability.
• Troubleshoot equipment, process failures, and production issues with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to implement corrective actions.
• Develop and implement mistake-proofing solutions to improve accuracy and reduce defects.
• Support early detection and capture of product failures to prevent downstream issues.
• Participate in first-article builds, engineering runs, process trials, and production validations.
• Analyze production data to identify trends, investigate failures, and recommend improvements.
• Perform root cause analysis and support corrective and preventive actions.
