Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced Compression Systems Engineering Project Engineer to own part-level tasks, plan activities, and help lead the CIPT with the IPT. You will drive technical execution, balance cost, schedule, and quality, and mentor others on the team in a fast-paced, onsite environment.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and hands-on engineering excellence to deliver reliable engine components across programs, with travel up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Advanced degree in related field with 5+ years.
• Experience in project management and technical engineering.
• U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure technical requirements are met and perform risk assessments with mitigation plans.
• Ensure performance, quality, cost, and schedule commitments are achieved.
• Prepare and present status and technical content to IPT Lead and CIPT management.
• Collaborate with Integrated Product Team and authorities on hardware field investigations.
• Evaluate product improvements and initiate process changes or support ESTO for Engineering Changes.
• Mentor and develop other Project Engineers on the team.
• Travel up to 10%.
