Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced Mechanical or Aerospace Engineer for Compression Systems Engineering (CSE) in the United States. This onsite role requires coordinating with Integrated Product Team Leads to meet task and technical requirements and working with suppliers to ensure hardware milestones are met.

You will apply Agile, Jira and Confluence to track progress, manage budgets, and align with program deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 2+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to program/contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Integrated Product Team Leads to meet task and technical requirements.
• Work with supplier resources to meet hardware delivery requirements and milestones.
• Participate in validation activities, including engine build and test.
• Operate across multiple disciplines and management levels with internal and external customers.
• Utilize Agile methodology and Jira/Confluence to manage status and content.
• Manage budget and schedule in line with negotiated deliverables.
