Job summary

RTX Compression Systems Engineering (CSE) seeks an experienced Project Engineering Professional to own part-level scope, plan tasks, and drive execution within the CIPT to meet IPT goals and customer expectations.

You will mentor other engineers, coordinate with the Integrated Product Team, manage risks, and present status to senior management. This onsite role requires strong communication, leadership, and a pragmatic engineering mindset.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering required or advanced degree in a related field.
8+ years of relevant experience in project management and engineering.
U.S. Person or eligible to obtain export authorizations.

Responsibilities

Ensure technical requirements are met and risks are assessed with mitigation plans.
Ensure performance, quality, cost, and schedule commitments are achieved.
Prepare and present status and technical content to IPT Lead and management.
Collaborate with IPT and authorities on hardware field investigations to drive root cause and improvements.
Evaluate product improvements and initiate changes as needed.
Mentor and develop other Project Engineers on the team.
Travel up to 10%.
