Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Project Engineer for the SSO Division in Dublin, GA. You will lead engineering projects, manage scope, cost, and schedules, and provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

You will coordinate with program management, design teams, and customers to develop BOMs, validate designs, and ensure compliance with standards. Occasional travel may be required to Parker locations and joint ventures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science; PE preferred.
• Professional Engineer certificate may be required or beneficial.
• Masters degree or MBA may be preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Develops project objectives by reviewing technical proposals and plans with management and related teams.
• Creates project plans and milestones by studying product or system design and customer requirements; assigns staffing and resources.
• Maintains regular customer interface to present status and negotiate changes as needed.
• Controls the project plan, costs, and schedules; oversees quotes and expenditures; may supervise contractors.
• Prepares and reviews technical work, including schematics, layouts, and test plans; addresses regulatory and IP concerns.
• Ensures consistent engineering standards and maintains project documentation and archives.
• Maintains professional knowledge through workshops and benchmarking.
• Acts as a technical advisor and mentor for team members; coordinates with customers and suppliers.
