Honeywell Aerospace in Olathe, KS is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead proposals, define scope, and manage schedules and budgets with Earned Value Management. You will serve as the technical point of contact for customers and program managers, coordinating across functions to deliver on-time, within-budget results.

Qualifications include a STEM bachelor’s degree and 6+ years in aerospace project engineering, plus strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (STEM).
• At least 6 years of experience in project engineering or related roles in the Aerospace industry.
• Experience with timelines and budgets using Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams in development of proposals, statements of work and associated cost estimates.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for customers and the program manager.
• Define and implement project scope, objectives, deliverables, prepare schedules and resource forecasting in Microsoft Project.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets using EVM metrics.
• Lead a robust risk management process to identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
• Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and practices.
