Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Project Engineering professional for a hybrid onsite/offsite role in the US. You will help develop plans, schedules and budgets, track progress, analyze data and implement improvements across cross-functional teams.

You will collaborate with IPTs to drive root-cause analysis and ensure timely project completion. The role requires a mechanical or aerospace engineering background, and a minimum of 2 years in engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 2 years of engineering experience or an advanced degree with GPA 3.0 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Supports development of project plans, schedules and budgets.
• Tracks progress and resolves obstacles to keep projects on schedule.
• Prepares status and technical content for CIPT and management.
• Analyzes data to optimize performance and efficiency.
• Collaborates with IPT and hardware teams for root-cause analysis and improvements.
• Supports engineering change execution.
• Maintains and presents plans and progress reports on project business aspects.
• Assists with risk assessments and mitigation plans.
• Identifies and resolves project problems to ensure successful completion.
• Facilitates tasks with functional teams to align with objectives.
• Supports EVMS activities and project management tasks.
• Attends meetings and trainings; participates in continuous improvement initiatives.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

2 years of engineering experience or advanced degree GPA 3.0+
