Job summary

Kratos Unmanned Systems is seeking a Project Engineer to support the design authority and manage the technical plan from kickoff to contract closure. You will track technical scope, cost, and schedule while coordinating cross‑functional engineering teams at KUAS.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in engineering or project leadership, with US citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance. Domestic travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical, or science fields.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in engineering, systems, or project leadership.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
• Experience in aerospace or aviation domains preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports program management and design authority with planning strategies, cost estimates, risk management, and data preparation for reviews.
• Collaborates with IPT leads and PM to plan technical solutions and integrate requirements into the project plan.
• Prepares estimates to complete, reviews schedules, and coordinates with IPTLs and PMO.
