Collins Aerospace is seeking a Project Engineer for the Aerostructures Military Portfolio Program Technical Office, focusing on configuration management, engineering definition, sustaining support, and cross-functional coordination across multiple military platforms.

The role involves handling configuration changes, coordinating CCB items, and ensuring proper documentation and data requests across Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Aftermarket, and external partners.

Qualifications

• STEM degree required with 5+ years of related experience or advanced degree with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with development/project engineering and configuration management processes.
• Strong ability to communicate technical content and coordinate across multiple engineering and operations functions.

Responsibilities

• Manage configuration and change activity for assigned platforms (KC-390, F-15/Gridlock, Pods).
• Prepare for and follow up on CCB items and coordinate related actions.
• Review engineering changes for applicability and impact on downstream processes.
• Coordinate technical questions with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Aftermarket and external partners.
• Research legacy records to resolve issues and support correct engineering definition.
• Support drawing and package release activities with proper configuration control.
