Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Program Quality Manager for Aerospace & Defense in Stockton, CA. The role focuses on overseeing quality across multiple programs and leading a team embedded with program management.

Onsite position with a strong emphasis on hands-on leadership and program-level quality ownership. The ideal candidate has aerospace quality experience, leadership ability, and knowledge of quality systems such as AS9100.

Qualifications

• Experience in Quality or Manufacturing environment with supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Aerospace industry experience preferred; other regulated industries considered.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills; database management a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality oversight for engineers and inspectors embedded within Program Management teams.
• Coordinate quality activities across multiple program teams to ensure alignment of objectives.
• Provide staff-level Quality Engineering oversight for Quality Engineers.
• Mentor and train Quality Engineers and Inspectors to support career development.
• Champion a Continual Improvement Culture (CIC) and drive processes to reduce cycle time and cost.
• Advise the Director of Quality Assurance on performance, recruiting, budgeting, and third-party audits.
