Job summary

The Boeing Company in Oklahoma City is seeking a Project Management Specialist to join the Bombers BGS Integration Office team. You will guide sustainment programs (B52, B1, B2) using PMBP standards, manage budgets and schedules, and build government customer relationships for long-term growth.

You will collaborate across BDS and BGS functions, perform earned value management, and lead risk and opportunity processes while ensuring contractual compliance and effective performance reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a multi-disciplined government contracts environment.
• Experience supporting USAF product support work scope.
• Experience supporting proposal development.
• 3+ years’ experience using project management methodologies, including developing project plans, performance management, and managing issues and risks.
• Experience with Department of Defense projects.
• Experience working modification and/or sustainment programs.
• Willing & able to travel up to 25% of the time domestically.

Responsibilities

• Perform program management activities in accordance with accepted project management industry standards and internal PMBP guidance.
• Collaborate with multiple Boeing divisions to drive collaboration, productivity, innovation and on-time delivery.
• Actively manage financial performance, earned value management and new proposal opportunities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Brief senior management, customers and stakeholders on program performance.
• Shape and execute long-term strategic direction on growth opportunities.
• Ensure contractual compliance, baseline execution within budget and schedule.
• Engage with military customers and strengthen relationships.
• Manage Product Support scope of work for USAF programs.
• Strong EVM background and use of EVM to manage and guide a program.
• Manage the Risk, Issue, and Opportunity (RIO) process with key stakeholders.
