Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies, a leading aerospace surface finishing company, is seeking a Program Manager to oversee assigned customer accounts and programs. You will coordinate with internal departments to ensure on-time delivery of conforming parts and implement high-level initiatives.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required; business management degree preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of customer support experience in manufacturing or aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Manage defined list of customer accounts and programs, coordinating with internal teams.
• Coordinate with operations and shipping leaders to manage truck routes and scheduling.
• Create daily reports on in-house orders and review ETA vs status to ensure on-time delivery.
• Resolve issues causing delays and escalate to leadership as needed.
• Maintain clear communication among quality, operations, finance, and customer service.
• Review order dates to align truck pickups with completion dates.
• Collaborate with planning and contract review staff to assess order splits and approvals.
• Identify orders requiring pre-planning for critical or high-priority shipments.
• Ensure engineering documents are retrieved and disseminated to processing teams.
• Mark expedited orders in the MRP system with expedite notes.
• Maintain up-to-date MRP customer contact listings and auto-generated emails.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
