Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Program Manager II for the Glenolden, PA site. This role leads NPD and STP programs with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, cost and quality commitments.

You will drive IPT leadership across multiple projects and coordinate with customers to align expectations and contractual commitments. The position requires six years of program management experience, a Bachelor’s in Engineering, and PMI PMP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of six (6) years experience in Program Management; or a combination of Program Management with some Engineering and/or Product Development Management.

• This position requires access to export-controlled information.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Beltsville, MD or Glenolden, PA will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Profit and Loss for New Product Development (NPD) Program(s) and Standard Transition (STP) projects and RAA for every project scope delivery and successful execution within, technical, schedule, budget, cost, and quality commitments.
• Execute Integrated Product Team (IPT) leadership across the project(s) and program(s). Seek team input to promote rapid resolution to issues. Coach and provide feedback/rewards on performance indicators.
• Establish objectives and goals and provide direction to the program and project teams in areas of customer concerns, potential changes in scope and risk assessment.
• Provide monthly program updates (Program Status Report – Green/Yellow/Red) of current situation relating to contractual milestones and problem/high risk areas.
• Play a key role in developing New business proposals and executing the overall program plan.
