Job summary

Hera Technologies is seeking an experienced Project Manager to own end-to-end lifecycle management of complex thermal protection systems and aerospace hardware. You will bridge PMO and Production, drive bottleneck resolution, and ensure on-time delivery for defense and space applications.

Responsibilities include coordinating engineering and manufacturing activities, data-driven decision making, and maintaining real-time production schedules while managing risks and KPIs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years PM, production planning, or technical coordination in aerospace/defense/advanced materials.
• Experience with ERP systems and customer portals ensuring data aligns with shop floor production.
• Technical familiarity with aerospace systems (TPS, launch vehicles, missiles, composites).
• Proficiency with project planning/reporting tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Excel).
• PMP or similar certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Align cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain) to goals, timelines and deliverables from concept to production.
• Identify and resolve execution bottlenecks to maintain cost and schedule adherence.
• Expedite jobs through shop floor to prevent delays and drive task completion.
• Serve as the bridge between PMO and Production for accurate recovery dates and real-time schedules.
• Identify, assess and mitigate program risks with contingency plans.
• Monitor unreleased/hold lists and drive timely resolutions to keep production moving.
• Track program progress using dashboards and KPIs for leadership and customer reviews.
• Maintain data integrity in ERP and ensure milestones align with production status.
• Travel to customer sites and test facilities as needed to support execution.
