Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics, Inc. in Burbank, CA is seeking a Production Technician II/III to test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify production of assigned products in a high-volume test environment under limited direction.

You will work with cross-functional teams, perform automated and manual testing, certify as a Crane Designated QA Inspector, and help ensure adherence to engineering drawings, test procedures, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent educational experience.
• Extensive knowledge of troubleshooting, circuitry or mechanical characteristics related to area of assignment.
• Working knowledge of computer systems.
• Ability to learn new test software and equipment.
• Manual dexterity and ability to use measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve production test issues.
• Perform all testing operations within the assigned area.
• Certify as Crane Designated Quality Assurance Inspector.
• Create non-conformance reports with detailed testing and root cause notes.
• Interpret work orders and engineering drawings and procedures.
• Calibrate or adjust units and perform related mathematical calculations.
• Perform automated and manual testing with standard and specialized equipment.
• Test units in other programs under supervision.
• Practice safe work habits per OSHA and Crane policy.
• Support CBS initiatives and overtime as needed.
• Any other task as assigned by supervisor.
