Leidos Defense Systems Colorado Manufacturing is seeking a Production Technician to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. The ideal candidate will be experienced in programming, setup, and operation of diverse machine tools, including water jet, blankets, and bonding.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, working with CAD models, and producing large aerospace components from exotic materials in a fast-paced R&D setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with at least 2 years of precision machining experience on Water Jet and Sawing.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 35 pounds unassisted.
• Overtime work as required.

Responsibilities

• Read engineering drawings and CAD models.
• Set up and operate machine tools including Water Jet, Blankets and Bonding.
• Manufacture large aerospace components from exotic materials.
• Work on different projects in a fast-paced R&D environment with minimal supervision.
