Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Manufacturing Production Scheduler in Gardena, CA. This contract-to-hire role coordinates customer orders with internal production, reviews POs, monitors MRP, and communicates with customers and teams to ensure on-time delivery.

You will work with SAP and Microsoft Office, maintain daily production reports, and ensure AS9100/ISO 9001 and ITAR compliance. This onsite position offers exposure to aerospace manufacturing processes and long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Experience with MRP systems and monitoring production schedules.
• Experience in manufacturing or production coordination, preferably aerospace.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word for documentation and reporting.
• Ability to review customer purchase orders and align with work orders.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, including bills of lading.
• Strong customer service skills for order status communication.
• Experience with order processing and data entry in a fast-paced production environment.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP tools.
• Understanding of AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality standards and ITAR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Review orders and verify alignment with internal work orders and production plans.
• Monitor MRP to ensure due dates meet delivery dates.
• Provide timely order status updates to customers.
• Coordinate with teams to obtain missing documentation and ECDs.
• Develop daily reports on orders, production status, and scheduling.
• Prepare shipments and related documentation (BOL, shipping paperwork).
• Support shipping/receiving and data entry in scheduling.
• Process work orders in MRP and related platforms.
• Maintain compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and ITAR.
• Use SAP and Microsoft Office to manage data and communications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Provide professional customer service and long-term relationships.
