Job summary

Trident Systems is seeking a Production Scheduler II in the Sterling/Chantilly area. The role focuses on creating, scheduling, releasing, and maintaining production orders to support manufacturing execution and program delivery.

You will interface with Materials Manager, planners, and program managers, using Dynamics BC or comparable ERP to ensure material readiness and on-time release. The position requires 2–4 years in scheduling or planning, a related degree, strong Excel skills, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 2-4 years scheduling, planning, or material control experience.
• Experience using ERP/MRP to create, schedule, release, and maintain orders.
• Strong Excel and MS Office capabilities with schedules and materials readiness.

Responsibilities

• Create, schedule, and release production orders per priorities and capacity.
• Maintain accurate order dates, status, routing, and material requirements.
• Identify shortages and constraints impacting start dates.
• Communicate shortages and risks to stakeholders before impact.
• Coordinate with multiple planning and manufacturing teams to align releases.
