Job summary

Trident Systems Space Electronic Systems (SES) division seeks a Production Scheduler II in Chantilly, VA to create, schedule, and release production orders supporting manufacturing execution and program delivery. You will coordinate with Materials Management, Program Managers, and Buyers to ensure material readiness and on-time shipping.

The role requires 2–4 years in scheduling or planning, ERP/MRP proficiency, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field or combined experience.
• 2–4 years in production scheduling, planning, material control, or related role.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems to create, schedule, release, or maintain production orders.
• Knowledge of production schedules, bills of materials, inventory, and material movement.
• Ability to identify shortages and schedule risks and communicate them clearly.
• Strong Excel and organizational skills for handling multiple orders.

Responsibilities

• Create, schedule, and release production orders aligned with priorities and material readiness.
• Release orders at least 14 days in advance when practical.
• Coordinate with Operations Program Managers on work-release priorities.
• Maintain dates, status, routing, and material requirements in ERP/MRP systems.
• Identify shortages or constraints that may impact start dates.
• Communicate risks and material readiness to stakeholders before impact.
• Maintain accurate dispatch lists, schedules, and visibility for leadership.
• Work with planning teams to transfer inventory to staging or production locations.
