Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford, CT, onsite, is seeking a Production Program Planner to coordinate a comprehensive Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and ensure adherence to IPMDAR and DCMA quality checks. The role requires strong scheduling discipline and collaboration with CAMs, CIPTs, and IPMT for decision support.

You will lead IMS baselines, support program reviews, and provide consulting to technical scope owners while continuously improving scheduling processes and applying MRP knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years prior relevant experience, OR, advanced degree with 3+ years of prior relevant experience required.
• Candidates with associate’s degree and 7+ years’ relevant experience, or, 9+ years’ relevant experience in lieu of 4yr degree may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Interpret contract requirements and objectives to create a thorough Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) with key attributes adhering to DCMA and P&W internal quality checks.
• Lead IMS baselines and act independently as the program IMS lead in program reviews and meetings.
• Provide consulting support to technical work scope owners by analyzing program plans and integrating proposed changes.
• Analyze program critical path assessments and facilitate root cause assessments to baseline execution variances with CAMs.
• Collaborate with Earned Value Analysts, CAMs, and CIPTs to ensure alignment between SAP and IMS reporting systems.
• Create and update scheduling procedures and standard work; communicate improvements back to the PP&S organization.
• Knowledge in how an MRP system works and understanding impacts to a production schedule.
