Job summary

NE-XT Technologies in Windsor, CT is seeking a dynamic Manager of Production Planning and Scheduling to lead the planning and scheduling of production activities for aerospace components. You will drive efficiency, resource utilization, and continuous improvement across multiple departments with a focus on on-time delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and experience with ERP/MRP systems; Epicor experience is a plus, and lean principles guide daily decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in production planning and scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team development and performance management.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
• Experience in the aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing industries.
• Experience with Epicor Manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production plans and schedules that align with business goals and customer demands.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics to ensure seamless operations.
• Work with customers to meet on-time delivery expectations.
• Coordinate with Operations and Engineering to ensure production plan achievement.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to meet deadlines and optimize resources.
• Analyze production data to identify trends, forecast needs, and recommend improvements.
• Develop tools and processes to mature the planning function.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout production.
• Prepare and present reports on production metrics to senior management.
