Job summary

EAST/WEST INDUSTRIES INC. is seeking a Program Planner to plan and execute customer delivery orders and maintain production schedules. You will work with Manufacturing, Strategic Sourcing and Quality to integrate information necessary to meet production targets.

You will lead weekly production meetings, review BOMs for lead times, and ensure timely shipment releases. A strong background in aerospace manufacturing and 5+ years of planning experience are required.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or operations management, plus 5+ years in production planning.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office; Infor VISUAL preferred; Lean manufacturing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Initiate planning to MRP demand and maintain detailed production schedules.
• Monitor shop workload/capacity and ensure resources are available.
• Coordinate with Production Management to optimize capacity and allocations.
• Issue orders and coordinate with Procurement for material availability.
• Analyze data to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions.
• Maintain records and WIP reports using the MRP system.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to resolve scheduling issues.
• Generate 3–6 month production forecasts and lead weekly meetings.
• Review BOMs to verify lead times and schedule adherence.
• Release shipments to customers and participate in continuous improvement.
