Job summary

B is seeking a production planner to organize production according to demand and quality standards in Kansas. You will ensure goods are produced on time for distribution in a profitable manner, and you will optimize manufacturing plans, BOMs, and work instructions to define as-built configurations.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in aerospace/aircraft machine shop settings, strong knowledge of planning and quality control, familiarity with MRP II, ERP systems, MS Office, and blueprint

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in aerospace/aircraft machine shop settings.
• Proven planning and quality control knowledge.
• Experience with MRP II and ERP systems.
• Strong math, statistics, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and maintains manufacturing plans, BOMs, and work instructions to define configurations.
• Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products.
• Plan and prioritize operations to maximize performance and minimize delays.
• Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover demand.
• Assign workers and staff to production operations.
• Monitor jobs to ensure on-time completion within budget.
• Address issues promptly to minimize disruption.
• Keep paperwork organized and accurate.
• Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and other staff.
• Take on miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
