Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years in manufacturing planning, with ERP experience and a focus on schedule integrity. ITAR compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Planning role in a manufacturing environment.
• Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee

Responsibilities

• Translate the sales forecast into an attainable production plan, releasing orders to the factory.
• Assist in creating procedures for developing a production schedule and tracking work orders across two ERP platforms.
• Use critical thinking to forecast demand and assign customer due dates.
• Release jobs to floor and conduct work order transactions.
• Interface with customer service to resolve inquiries, expediting orders, and recovery planning.
• Update and maintain planning information in ERP systems.
