Job summary

RTCA in Chatsworth, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Production Planning Lead to own and manage complex production schedules, ensuring on-time delivery and efficient resource use. You will mentor Planning Associates, partner with the Master Scheduler, and drive continuous improvement in planning metrics and schedule adherence.

This onsite role requires 4+ years of scheduling experience in manufacturing and ERP/MRP proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent).
• 4+ years of production planning, scheduling, or production control experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage production schedules across multiple work centers to align with demand and capacity.
• Escalate and recover from scheduling conflicts, capacity constraints, and material shortages.
• Translate MPS into site-level work order priorities with Master Scheduler.
• Coordinate daily/weekly priorities across machining, quality, purchasing, shipping, and engineering.
