Job summary

Barnes Aerospace is seeking a Production Planner in East Granby, CT to develop and communicate the production schedule using ERP/MRP systems. You will ensure the schedule aligns with customer requirements, track progress from launch to completion, and assist with expediting as needed.

The role requires 5+ years of scheduling experience in manufacturing, with ERP/MRP proficiency and Syteline 9 experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.
• ERP / MRP experience required; Syteline 9 preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with Power BI is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize workload and resolve conflicts quickly.
• Balance customer needs with company interests; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes ERP to develop and communicate production schedule.
• Ensure schedule reflected in ERP and cell boards.
• Meet internal and external customer requirements per plan.
• Track progress from launch to completion and expedite as needed.
• Assist supervision with level loading and line balancing.
• Maintain Line-of-Balance tracking for key programs.
• Report progress toward forecast and identify risks.
• Coordinate with Purchasing on delivery dates and needs.
• Ensure logistics activities are timely and efficient.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
