Job summary

Williams International, headquartered in Pontiac, MI, is hiring a Production Coordinator for a day shift (6:00am – 2:30pm) to support manufacturing and materials control within the SAP environment. Responsibilities include releasing, issuing, transferring, receiving, and processing stock transfers of hardware across production cells.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year in a similar materials role; manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualifications

Must be detail oriented and able to meet deadlines.
Experience in materials stocking or similar role in manufacturing.
Experience working in manufacturing or production environment.

Responsibilities

Distribute materials to production or assembly areas.
Ensure correct parts and quantities for production needs.
Assist production workers, coordinators, and managers as required.
Identify shortages/discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.
Label parts clearly for quick kit identification.
Trace and track parts across cells and production stages.
Release, issue, receive, close orders and process stock transfers.
Process miscellaneous material transactions (location changes, scrap, cycle counts).
Support tracking earned hours on cell processes.
May operate hand truck; possibly a hi-lo on occasion.
Aim to meet team goals following policies and safety standards.
