Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a Material Control Processor for Plant 4, Thermatech in Whitehall, MI. The weekend position will train on days and transition to 3-12 hour shifts. Responsibilities include preparing shipping docs, receiving materials, maintaining hazardous waste manifest, and inventory control, with backup support for Shipping.

Minimum two years of experience or six months in manufacturing, HS diploma or GED required, and ability to obtain U.S. work authorization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of work experience; or six months continuous manufacturing experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shipping and receiving documentation for incoming/outgoing materials, including export control docs.
• Receive materials and verify inventory.
• Maintain hazardous waste manifest log.
• Perform physical inventory counts.
• Learn and back up Shipping Department functions when needed.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
