Job summary

SQA Services, Inc. is seeking an on-site aerospace production control specialist in Woodinville, WA. You will act as the client’s eyes and ears, expediting deliveries, reading drawings, and coordinating with the UK-based supply chain team.

You will hold daily follow-ups, track open orders, and report risks in the client’s format, while ensuring certifications and conformity documentation are complete. The role requires 5+ years of aerospace experience and proficiency with ERP/MRP and Excel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in aerospace production control, expediting, supplier delivery management or buyer/planner roles.
• Experience with machined/formed or assembled metallic aerospace components.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, shop travelers/routers and work orders, and to understand how operation sequences drive lead time.
• Familiarity with AS9100 manufacturing environments and aerospace documentation (certificates of conformity, material certifications, AS9102).
• Advanced proficiency with ERP/MRP data and open order books.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site client eyes and ears at USC in Woodinville, following up deliveries of rod, strut and cable assemblies.
• Take direction from the client’s UK-based supply chain team on priorities, shortages, and required delivery dates.
• Hold daily follow-up meetings with the supplier and record delivery commitments and owners.
• Trace priority parts through routing and verify progress on the floor with actual status.
• Identify bottlenecks (materials, capacity, sub-tier issues) to help client decisions.
• Expedite critical parts, ensure documentation (COC) and shipments meet commitments; report daily in client format.
