Job summary

RTX’s Collins Aerospace unit is seeking a Product Manager, P4 to own the lifecycle of the MPC Pump Product Line within the Engine Control Systems portfolio. You will own the strategy, financial performance, and customer outcomes, while directing the product roadmap and IPT governance to ensure on-time delivery and competitive cost performance.

You will collaborate across ECS lines, manage budget, and influence enterprise commitments, with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• University degree and 8+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree with 5+ years.
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to information under this program/contract.
• Program or product management experience.
• Experience with program management systems including manpower planning, scheduling, cost controls and earned value management.
• Operations and production flow management including supply chain oversight.
• Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing techniques and technical requirements.
• Knowledge of aerospace contracts.
• Experience with proposal preparation and customer negotiations preparation.
• Knowledge of aerospace policies, procedures and system requirements including quality, manufacturing and program management.
• Applied theory level knowledge of the management system.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for all customer commitments including deliveries and KPIs.
• Manage changes to the product(s) in the product line or family.
• Collaborate across ECS to support multiple customers for the products and services.
• Influence and negotiate to achieve enterprise commitments.
• Lead complex teams with matrixed responsibilities.
• Be accountable for key financial and product performance metrics.
• Lead IPTs and apply critical thinking where data is incomplete.
• Develop networks and communicate vision to IPT and stakeholders.
• Plan, direct, and monitor collateral budget.
• Provide inputs to the Strategic and Financial Plan for their product scope.
• Travel up to 10%.
