Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products Corp. (CPP) Eastlake is seeking a Product Engineer to develop and refine robust manufacturing processes and tooling to support growth in aerospace and industrial investment casting markets.

You will lead improvement efforts, teach best practices, and work on cross-functional teams to solve yield and quality issues. The role requires a BS in engineering, 5+ years in mechanical/product engineering, and preferred investment casting experience; strong analytical and

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years experience in mechanical or product engineering.
• Investment casting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the construction of dies, gages and support tooling to produce and inspect ceramic cores, wax patterns and castings.
• Identify and improve process yields using data analysis techniques (statistical, mathematical, DOE, 6 Sigma).
• Interface with tooling vendors and CPP Purchasing to produce a high-quality tool/die at competitive price.
• Control the dimensional quality of castings to meet customer expectations.
• Develop internal job instructions.
• Identify, evaluate and implement new process technologies to improve manufacturing and product capabilities.
• Document work procedures and processes.
• Publish reports on research and completed tests using data-based decisions.
