Talentify is seeking a Procurement Specialist 1 to join our Supply Chain Department in Madison, Mississippi. The role requires understanding procurement commodities, source selection, RFQ creation, and supplier coordination to keep POs under $30K and ensure timely delivery.

You will negotiate with suppliers, monitor acknowledgements, and assist senior buyers with data tracking in SAP, while maintaining data accuracy and supporting program reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with related procurement experience or higher.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Some travel will be required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and presenting data clearly.

Responsabilités

• Source, negotiate and purchase machinery, equipment, tools, and packaging for operations.
• Analyze data to determine feasibility and price objectives.
• Monitor supplier performance and opportunities to reduce costs.
• Track price trends and market dynamics to inform decisions.
• Review proposals, negotiate prices, and select suppliers.
• Prepare RFQ/RFP/bid packages as needed.
• Maintain ethical standards and data accuracy in SAP.
• Support supplier visits and assist program reviews.
